MICHAEL W. VERNILE received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University in 1999. He attended the Quinnipiac University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2004.  During law school he was a Dean’s Fellow Scholar. In 2001 while pursuing his law degree, Attorney Vernile had the opportunity to attend classes at Trinity College School of Law in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to joining Montstream Law Group, LLP, he was employed by Butler, Norris & Gold as an associate where his practice focused on workers’ compensation and general civil litigation in addition to residential and commercial real estate transactions. Attorney Vernile joined Montstream Law Group in 2009 as an associate where his practice involves mainly workers’ compensation. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.  In 2014 he was recognized as a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist, of which there are approximately fifty in Connecticut. He was named a partner to the firm in 2018. He has also lectured on Workers’ Compensation issues for clients and institutions offering continuing legal education credits.
